Vaults
Vaults are OptyFi smart contracts into which users deposit assets so that these assets can be deployed into strategies. Vaults enable users to share gas costs and thereby increase user profitability while also enabling more frequent strategy switching.
Each vault has an underlying token (i.e. the token users would deposit into the vault) and is associated with a specific risk profile which determines the set of strategies the vault can and cannot deploy assets into.
There will be a separate vault for each underlying asset and risk profile combination.
Underlying Asset | Chain | Risk Profile | Vault Token |
---|---|---|---|
USDC | Ethereum | Earn | |
WBTC | Ethereum | Earn | |
USD3 | Ethereum | Earn | |
WETH | Ethereum | Earn | |
USDC | Polygon | Earn |
For example, the USDC Earn vault will accept USDC as the input token and then deploy USDC into various strategies that meet the Earn risk profile. Updated 01/06/23.
